I've been pondering the word "enough" for a few years now. I even had an "I am enough" practice for a while. It is something that comes and goes from my awareness. And lately, it keeps coming up every week or so. I had an ah-ha, a revelation, during what seems to be a new morning occurrence or insight download. Here it is: "Enough" is not a state of action. It is a state of being, where action may or may not arise. And if action does arise in this state of being, it is an action of fulfilling or expressing authentic self. "Not enough" is a state of constant agitation or anxiety-like buzzing. Any action that happens within this agitated state is a desperate attempt to find ground or to find self in an inauthentic way. I think. It still feels like a new description to me. It might get a rewrite as more clarity and understanding arise. What do you think? How do you feel when you read these descriptions? Do they resonate with you? Do you have some other ways of describing the above? Do you know what enough is in your body and mind? hugs! :)
