As most of you know, all in person classes are on hold again. So i decided to take the plunge and offer my current classes as on-line, live classes via Zoom.

If you are not on my email list, and you are interested in attending an on-line live class, please send me a note via the contact form on my "contact/bio" page.

So, you are interested, what do you need to participate?
If you are already familiar with ZOOM, skip below to PROPS & SPACE.

NEW TO ZOOM?
  1. You will need a Computer/Tablet/Laptop/Smart Phone with Internet access.
  2. You will need a web camera (built in or separate) with a mic. If you do not have a mic, you can still participate, you just won't be able to talk to me or other participants.
  3. You will need audio on your device (internal or external speakers) so you can hear me.
  4. You will need to download the Zoom Program or "App" as its called nowadays. And you can do that on a Desktop Computer, Laptop, Tablet or Smart Phone.
  • On a Computer or Laptop, simply search for "Zoom" in your web search engine of choice (Bing, Yahoo, Google, etc) or click on this link zoom.us/download
  • For Tablets and Smart Phones, go to your "App Store" or "Google Play Store" and search for "Zoom".
There are loads of tutorials on Zoom to help you get started. There are also a lot of helpful tutorials on YouTube that are device specific like "how to zoom on an iPad". Start playing around.

PROPS & SPACE
This will all depend on what class you are taking.
  • Will you need room to lay on the floor? Could you do it in bed instead?
  • Are there standing poses? Do you have room to stretch your arms up or out to the side?
  • Is your space or location of computer so tight that only chair yoga would work?
  • Will you need props? Can you improvise a bolster or blocks if you don't have any (and don't want to buy any)? If you don't have a yoga mat, is your floor slippery (dangerous for standing poses), Will you need padding on a hard floor?

This is just a starting point. I will add more as i think of it.
Questions? Let me know.
Suggestions? Let me know.

HUGS!

    Sheron's Techie Journey

I am not "new" to techie learning, by any stretch. In fact i used to teach people how to use their computers. But, that was several years ago. Since then, i have avoided learning new things on the computer. I seem to have gotten myself into a "stick in the mud" mind space in regards to all things techie. Well, that is all about to change!
